Kevin believes in this project because it gives unique control over a public place back to the public, and he’s excited to find out how a big city like New York – fish included – will choose to influence this tiny space. After earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, Kevin went on to pursue post-graduate experimental research in responsive architecture. He previously worked as an urban designer for Skidmore Owings and Merrill, currently teaches a graduate-level workshop with David and Soo-In, and enjoys exploring architectural applications for the ubiquitous mobile phone.
