Chris creates visualizations revealing the invisible and he is interested in designing new tools where the biological meets the machine readable. He grew up in Hamburg, worked at Adobe and IDEO in San Francisco, studied Design Interactions at the RCA in London and is now based in New York working on research projects with Natalie Jeremijenko at the NYU. He has been a visiting critic at design schools including Columbia University and MIT Media Lab. Recently his work has been shown at the MoMA in New York. Chris always carries pen & camera and enjoys thought experiments, salted caramel ice-cream and attention to small details.
